Upholstered Cat Tree D-3 for Medium-Sized Cats

The D-3 cat tree is a 158 cm high cat tree for medium-sized cats that combines a large scratching surface with several levels for climbing, resting and observing the surroundings. The model is equipped with a long scratching post, a cat house, a rectangular shelf, a top bed and a round step.

The longest post is 100 cm long and has a diameter of 12 cm. It allows the cat to stretch its front paws high and extend its body while scratching. This makes the D-3 a practical cat tree with a long scratching post that supports the natural need to maintain the claws.

In the middle section of the structure there is a cat house measuring 40 × 40 cm and 25 cm high. It provides a more sheltered place for sleeping and resting. Above the house there is a 40 × 55 cm shelf that can be used as a resting place, an observation point and a step leading to the upper level.

At the top there is a 40 × 55 cm bed. Its elevated position allows the cat to rest away from the floor and observe the room from above. The D-3 therefore combines the functions of a cat tree with a house and a cat tree with a bed.

An additional round step with a diameter of 18 cm makes it easier to move between the different levels. The arrangement of the step, house, shelf and bed creates a functional climbing cat tree and gives the cat a choice of resting places at different heights.

The 55 × 55 cm base is made of layered plywood. This material increases the rigidity of the structure and its resistance to loads caused by jumping and climbing on the posts.

The cat tree can be configured by choosing the upholstery material and colour. Different rope options are also available: natural sisal, black sisal or white synthetic rope.
