Dear customers,
Here You got the possibility to customize your cat tree/product. Below You will find all available options and if You will have any doubt, please check all informations in our template ( under )
The EX-S-MAX-4 floor-to-ceiling Maine Coon cat tree is a tall tension-mounted structure combining the strength of the MAX range with several different areas for resting, climbing and observing the surroundings. The model features substantial 18 cm diameter posts, a large double hammock, two round dish-style beds and a sisal tunnel. The complete structure is stabilised between the floor and ceiling by a robust tensioning mechanism based on an M12 screw.
The hammock, beds and tube may extend beyond the base; leave more than 60 × 60 cm for safe access and jumping.
The Ø 30 cm tube is mainly a tunnel and sheltered play area. Access for a particularly large Maine Coon depends on its build. The two hammock levels and two Ø 60 cm beds are the main resting places.
Allow the hammock cover to dry completely before refitting and attach it correctly to the frame. Check the fabric, zips and fixings periodically.
Consider the cat’s size, weight, age, mobility and jumping habits, the number of cats and the floor and ceiling at the installation point.
Measure the vertical distance from the finished floor to the ceiling precisely at the intended position. Do not rely only on building plans; floor and ceiling levels can vary. Incorrect measurements may prevent proper tension adjustment.
The upper plate must rest against a flat, stable, sufficiently strong ceiling. Check suitability before using suspended ceilings, lightweight boards, tiles or decorative panels; a thin covering is not automatically a suitable support.
The base must rest evenly on a flat, stable floor. Soft carpets, unstable coverings and uneven floors can affect vertical alignment and tension.
After assembly, check vertical alignment, even contact of the base, tightness of all connections and correct M12 tension.
Recheck after the first days of intensive use and periodically thereafter, especially after moving the cat tree, changing flooring, renovation or any loosening.
With several large cats, loads can act at different points simultaneously; check all connections and tension particularly regularly.
