The EX-MAX-2B cat tree for Maine Coons is a substantial multi-level structure equipped with two different oversized hammocks and a large upper resting platform. One of the main features of EX-MAX-2B is its enlarged double hammock. The supporting frame measures 65 × 70 cm and is made from reinforced 21 mm plywood. The thicker material increases rigidity and helps the element withstand the dynamic forces generated when a large and heavy cat jumps onto it.

The actual usable resting surface of the double hammock measures approximately 45 × 65 cm. Its design provides an upper resting surface and a softly suspended lower section. The cat can therefore choose between a more open position and a recessed bed that adapts to the shape of its body.

The second major resting area is the single hammock. Its frame measures 62 × 72 cm, while the actual usable resting surface is approximately 55 × 62 cm. It is a full-size bed developed for the long and substantial body of a Maine Coon rather than a small hammock commonly fitted to standard cat trees.

The soft surface of the single hammock adapts to the cat's position and provides comfortable support during sleep. With the largest Maine Coons, the genuinely usable resting space is especially important, as the external frame dimensions do not always correspond to the area available to the cat.

At the highest level is an open round resting platform measuring 60 cm in diameter. Its enlarged size allows a large cat to enter freely, turn around and position its whole body comfortably. The platform also provides an elevated observation point.

The combination of a double hammock, single hammock and large upper platform creates several different resting zones. The cat can choose between a soft recessed bed, an open hammock and a flat elevated surface. The structure can also be useful in a multi-cat household, where different levels may be used simultaneously.

The total height of EX-MAX-2B is approximately 160 cm. The arrangement of the individual elements allows the cat to move comfortably between levels, while the highest platform provides a useful place for observing the surroundings.

EX-MAX-2B is a practical choice for owners looking for a stable cat tree for a large Maine Coon, particularly where the number and size of resting places are important. It combines three thick scratching posts with beds that are substantially larger than those normally found on cat trees for ordinary large cats.
