The cat tree should be placed on an even, firm and stable floor. Adequate free space should be left around it so that a Maine Coon can jump onto the hammocks and rosette beds, turn its body and climb down without hitting nearby walls, windowsills or furniture. Available fabric, wood, mat and rope colours, as well as options for the interior of the house, can be selected when ordering. This makes it possible to coordinate the cat tree with a living room, bedroom, dedicated cat room or cattery. The cat’s mobility should also be considered because of the height of the structure. A young and active Maine Coon may use all levels easily, while an older cat or one with limited mobility may require a simpler route between the individual elements.
