Upholstered cat tree D-7 for medium-sized cats

The D-7 is a multi-level cat tree for medium-sized cats that provides space for scratching, climbing and resting. The structure is 152 cm high and includes two rectangular shelves, a tube bed and a long gutter bed. The different levels allow the cat to choose between observing the surroundings, hiding away or resting comfortably.

The longest post is 80 cm long and has a diameter of 14 cm. It provides a large scratching surface, allowing the cat to stretch its front paws upwards and extend its body. The remaining posts offer additional scratching areas while the cat moves between the different levels.

The larger shelf measures 45 × 70 cm and provides plenty of space for lying down and changing position comfortably. It can be used as an observation point, a place for a short rest or a level that makes it easier to reach the next parts of the cat tree.

The second shelf measures 40 × 50 cm. Its smaller size makes it suitable as an additional place for sitting and observing the room, as well as a step during climbing.

The tube bed measures 50 cm in length and 30 cm in diameter, creating a more secluded space. The cat can hide inside, rest away from household activity or settle near one of the openings and observe the surroundings.

The gutter bed is 70 cm long. Its elongated shape provides enough space for the cat to stretch out comfortably, while the raised sides offer support. Positioned on a higher level, it can also serve as an observation point.

The two shelves, tube bed and gutter bed create a layout that encourages movement between the different levels. The D-7 therefore works well as a climbing cat tree, offering both open resting surfaces and a more sheltered place to relax.

The 50 × 80 cm base is made of layered plywood. It increases the rigidity of the structure and helps withstand the loads created when the cat jumps onto the shelves and climbs the posts.

The appearance of the cat tree can be matched to the interior by choosing the upholstery material and colour. Different rope options are also available: natural sisal, black sisal and synthetic rope in white, graphite or brown.
