The Cat Tree EX-SZ-1 combines a full-size, multi-level structure for scratching, climbing and resting with a practical wooden cabinet located in the lower part. With a total height of approximately 198 cm, the model offers several different resting areas and long scratching posts, while the enclosed space at floor level can be used according to the needs of both the cat and the household.

The lower section of the cat tree consists of a classic, single-compartment cabinet measuring 64.5 × 50 cm and 51 cm in height. It can be used as a sheltered hideaway, a quiet resting place or a practical storage space for litter and cat accessories. It can also be used to accommodate a suitably sized litter box, but before purchase the dimensions of the specific litter box should be compared with the available interior space to ensure that the cat can use it comfortably. If the cabinet is intended primarily as a litter box enclosure, it is also worth considering the EX-SZ-2 models, which additionally feature a vestibule that may help reduce the amount of litter carried out on the cat’s paws.

Above the cabinet is the main, more extensive part of the cat tree. Three posts with a diameter of Ø 14 cm and lengths of 30 cm, 50 cm and 100 cm provide scratching surfaces at different heights. The longest 100 cm post allows the cat to stretch its entire body comfortably while scratching.

The EX-SZ-1 is equipped with a single hammock and a large double hammock, creating soft resting places at different levels. The upper bed is available in one of two versions: a Plate bed with a diameter of Ø 51 cm or a medium Rosette with an internal diameter of Ø 45 cm. This allows the layout of the cat tree to be adapted to the cat’s preferred way of resting.

The cabinet is an integral part of the entire construction rather than a separate piece of furniture placed underneath the cat tree. The 70 × 55 cm base and the 53 × 68 cm top panel of the cabinet are made of 36 mm thick plywood. The remaining cabinet elements are made of 18 mm thick plywood. This lower section provides broad support for the tall structure while also creating additional usable space in the home.
