The D-5 is a compact upholstered cat tree for large cats, combining a long scratching post with two different resting areas. The construction is 120 cm high and includes a round hideout and a rosette-style bed with a raised edge positioned above it.

The main 100 cm post provides the cat with a long, uninterrupted surface wrapped in sisal rope. It allows the animal to reach high with its front paws, stretch its entire body and scratch in a natural position. This is particularly important for larger cats, as shorter posts do not always provide enough space for a full-body stretch.

All scratching posts have a diameter of 14 cm. The shorter 30 cm post is positioned between the hideout and the upper bed, raising the resting area and providing an additional surface for scratching and climbing.

The round hideout offers a sheltered place for sleeping and undisturbed rest. It is upholstered on the inside as well, creating a soft resting surface throughout the interior. The hideout is 40 cm high, while its diameter can be selected according to the size of the cat.

A rosette-style bed with a raised edge is located at the highest level. It provides an open place to lie and an observation point from which the cat can watch its surroundings. The raised edge supports the body and provides a comfortable place to rest the head.

The D-5 is available in three size variants. In the small version, the hideout and round bed measure 40 cm in diameter. The medium version has a diameter of 45 cm, while the large version measures 50 cm. This makes it possible to adapt the resting areas to the cat’s size and preferred sleeping position.

The 60 × 60 cm base is made from layered plywood. This material improves its rigidity, durability and resistance to the loads generated when the cat jumps onto the hideout and upper bed.

The upholstered D-5 can be adapted to the interior by selecting the size of the resting areas, the type and colour of the upholstery material and the colour of the rope. Its simple vertical construction occupies relatively little floor space while providing a long scratching post, a sheltered hideout and an upper observation bed.
