Large suspended cat exercise wheel for indoor activity and play
The large suspended cat exercise wheel provides domestic cats with additional physical activity, entertainment and behavioural stimulation. It is designed for cats weighing up to 8 kg. With an outer diameter of 135 cm, the wheel offers more room for movement than the smaller versions.
The product is intended exclusively for indoor use. It is not training or rehabilitation equipment and does not replace veterinary advice.
What does the suspended construction mean?
The term “suspended” refers to the way the wheel is mounted inside its support structure. The wheel rotates on a steel axle fitted into two self-aligning ball bearings. The complete product stands on its own 60 × 100 cm wooden base and does not require wall or ceiling installation.
The galvanised steel support structure is enclosed with plywood elements, combining the rotating mechanism with a stable and neatly finished base.
Adjustable brake and rotation lock
The wheel has an adjustable mechanical brake that limits its rotational speed. Before use, the brake resistance must be set so that the wheel cannot accelerate excessively while the cat is running.
The rotation lock stops the wheel completely. It must always be engaged when the cat cannot be supervised.
Which cats is the large wheel suitable for?
The large model is intended for cats weighing no more than 8 kg. Selection should take into account not only body weight but also the cat’s body length, movement and back position while running. The larger wheel diameter may provide more suitable space for cats that find smaller models too restrictive.
The maximum permitted weight of 8 kg must not be exceeded. Overloading may damage the structure and increase the risk of injury to the cat.
Introducing your cat to the wheel
- Place the wheel on a level, stable and dry surface.
- Check the stability of the structure, free rotation of the wheel and operation of the brake and lock.
- Initially keep the wheel locked and allow the cat to explore it calmly.
- Use a treat or favourite toy for encouragement, but never force the cat onto the wheel.
- Unlock the wheel and set noticeable brake resistance to prevent sudden acceleration.
- Keep the first sessions short and supervise the cat continuously.
- Stop the session if the cat appears frightened or tired, loses balance or tries to leave the wheel suddenly.

Construction and materials

- wooden elements finished with a cat-safe polyurethane lacquer compliant with DIN EN 71-3.
Important safety rules
- The wheel may only be used under the supervision of a responsible adult.
- The wheel must be locked whenever household members are absent.
- Only one cat may use the wheel at a time.
- Keep children, other cats and other animals away while the wheel is in use.
- Do not exceed the maximum cat weight of 8 kg.
- Do not use the product in areas with high humidity.
- Do not make any structural modifications.
- The wheel has an open design. Intensive running may involve a risk of losing balance, falling out of the wheel or striking part of the structure.
- If you have any concerns about your cat’s health, consult a veterinarian before use.
Inspection and maintenance
Regularly inspect the axle and bearings, brake setting, structural stability, fastening elements and running surface. More frequent inspections are required when the wheel is used intensively.
Stop using the product immediately if excessive play, unusual noise, resistance during rotation or structural damage is detected. Do not resume use until the cause has been diagnosed and corrected.
Warranty and service
The product is covered by a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty. Proof of purchase is required. Service requests can be sent to [email protected]. Warranty service is carried out at the manufacturer’s premises.
