Cat Tree for Large Cats EX-KAK-10

The EX-KAK-10 XXL cat tree is an exceptionally extensive construction designed for large cats and multi-cat households. It provides numerous resting areas, two separate cat houses, broad scratching surfaces and a complex arrangement of levels for climbing, observing the surroundings and choosing between different types of beds.

The construction uses substantial 27 cm diameter posts characteristic of the Kaktus range. It includes posts measuring 70 cm, 30 cm and two posts measuring 40 cm. They are covered with thick sisal matting that creates a broad surface for intensive scratching and provides secure support for the cat’s paws while climbing.

Two exceptionally large platforms, each measuring 100 × 145 cm, form the main levels of the construction. Together, they contain four round resting areas with a diameter of 60 cm. Each bed provides a generous usable surface suitable even for cats with long and heavily built bodies. Their placement on both sides of the cat tree allows several animals to rest simultaneously without sharing one bed.

The central part of the model contains a double cat house measuring 56 × 130 cm. It consists of two separate compartments, each with an internal diameter of 50 cm. The cats can therefore use independent and more sheltered resting areas. The houses can serve both as sleeping spaces and as quiet retreats away from other animals.

An additional 56 cm diameter bed is positioned on top of each house. The double house therefore provides two enclosed retreats as well as two open resting surfaces. A cat can choose whether to sleep inside or observe the room from an elevated bed above the house.

The model also includes two suspended resting beds with a diameter of 60 cm. Their soft hanging surfaces adapt to the cat’s body and create gently enclosing places for relaxation. The beds are positioned on opposite sides of the construction, further increasing the number of independent resting areas available to several cats.

In total, EX-KAK-10 provides four beds integrated into the large platforms, two beds on top of the houses, two separate house interiors and two suspended beds. This extensive arrangement can be particularly useful in a multi-cat home or breeding cattery, as it allows the animals to choose between open surfaces, enclosed spaces and soft hanging beds.

The base measures 80 × 80 cm, but the wide platforms and resting areas mean that the complete cat tree requires considerably more room. An installation area approximately 150 cm wide and 200 cm deep should be prepared. Before ordering, it is advisable to measure the available space and plan how the individual components will be carried into the room.
