Cat Tree for Large Cats EX-KAK-14

The EX-KAK-14 cat tree for large cats is a multi-level construction combining substantial scratching posts, an open sisal-covered platform, a spacious elongated bed and a choice of resting area at the highest level. It is designed for cats that need a generous scratching surface, a convenient climbing route and plenty of room to stretch out.

The construction is supported by three posts with a diameter of 27 cm. One post is 70 cm long, while the other two measure 40 cm each. The tubes are covered with thick sisal matting, creating a broad surface for intensive scratching. Their large diameter gives the cat plenty of room to place its front paws, stretch and use the posts while climbing.

One level features a round platform with a diameter of 56 cm and an upper surface covered with sisal matting. It can serve as a step leading to the upper part of the cat tree, a place for sitting and observing the room, and an additional horizontal scratching surface.

A distinctive feature of the model is the elongated crescent-shaped bed measuring 60 × 90 cm. Its soft cushion measures approximately 33 × 90 cm and is attached with Velcro, making it easier to remove. The elongated shape provides plenty of room for the cat to lie comfortably and stretch its legs.

The crescent-shaped bed can be particularly suitable for cats with long bodies that do not always fit comfortably on conventional round beds. Its open design provides easy access, allows the cat to change position freely and does not restrict its view of the surroundings.

The upper bed can be selected according to the cat’s preferences. Available options include a rosette bed with an internal diameter of 50 cm, a rosette with a decorative paw motif and the same usable dimensions, a 60 cm round platform with a soft cushion or a 60 cm platform with a padded ring bed.

The rosette provides a more enclosed resting place surrounded by a soft edge. The platform with a cushion creates a large, flat and soft surface, while the padded ring allows the cat to support its head or back against the raised border. The highest level can therefore be adapted to the individual resting habits of the cat.

Depending on the selected upper bed, the total height is approximately 166–173 cm. The model provides an elevated observation point while requiring less space than the most extensive constructions in the Kaktus range.

The 70 × 70 cm base supports the three posts and the components positioned above it. Before ordering, it is also worth allowing sufficient room for the cat to jump comfortably onto the elongated bed and the highest level.
