Cat Tree for Large Cats EX-KAK-12

The EX-KAK-12 large cat tree is a tall, multi-level construction designed for cats that enjoy climbing, using extensive scratching surfaces and resting at elevated observation points. The model combines four substantial Ø27 cm posts, three open platforms covered with sisal matting and a choice of upper bed.

The construction is supported by four posts with a diameter of 27 cm. One post is 70 cm long, while the other three measure 40 cm each. The tubes are covered with thick sisal matting, creating a broad surface for scratching and climbing. Their large diameter gives the cat plenty of room to place its front paws and use different areas of the sisal surface.

Three round platforms with a diameter of 56 cm are positioned on the successive levels. Their upper surfaces are covered with sisal matting, allowing them to serve not only as steps leading to the top but also as additional places for scratching, sitting and observing the room.

The arrangement of the platforms creates a gradual route to the highest level. The cat can move between the individual elements, stop at a preferred height or climb along the broad sisal-covered posts. The open platforms do not restrict visibility and provide enough room to change position.

The upper bed can be selected during product configuration. Available options include a rosette bed with an internal diameter of 50 cm, a rosette with a decorative paw motif and the same usable dimensions, a 60 cm round platform with a soft cushion or a 60 cm platform with a padded ring bed.

The rosette provides a more enclosed resting place surrounded by a soft edge. The platform with a cushion creates a large, flat and soft surface, while the padded ring allows the cat to support its head or back against the raised border. The available options make it easier to match the highest level to the cat’s preferred resting position.

Depending on the selected upper bed, the total height is approximately 208–215 cm. EX-KAK-12 is therefore one of the taller models in the Kaktus range and can be suitable for active cats that enjoy making use of the vertical space in a room.

The 70 × 70 cm base supports the four posts and the platforms positioned above them. Before ordering, it is worth considering not only the dimensions of the base but also the additional space the cat needs to jump comfortably onto the individual levels.
