The D-3A is an extensively equipped upholstered cat tree for medium-sized cats, combining a long scratching surface with several different resting areas. The construction is 158 cm high and includes a 100 cm scratching post that allows the cat to reach high with its front paws, stretch its entire body and maintain its claws comfortably.

The D-3A is designed for medium-sized cats that need not only a stable scratching surface but also places for climbing, observing their surroundings and resting at different heights. The arrangement of the components creates a comfortable route from the lower parts of the construction to the highest resting area.

The round hideout, measuring 42 cm in diameter, is upholstered on the inside as well and provides a more enclosed place for sleeping. The cylindrical bed, with a diameter of 30 cm, can be used as an additional resting place or observation point. The construction also includes an open bed and an upper platform, giving the cat several different types of resting areas to choose from.

The 100 cm post allows the cat to use the scratching surface in a natural position. The shorter posts positioned between the successive levels serve both as structural elements and as additional surfaces for claw maintenance.

The base of the cat tree is made from layered plywood, providing greater rigidity, durability and resistance to loads than less durable wood-based materials.
