The running wheel for cats is a toy that provides entertainment and exercise for indoor cats, that cannot be used as a training device! Please note:
- if you have any doubts whether your cat can use the running wheel (because of dysplasia or cardiac problems), we recommend consulting a veterinarian
- the treadmill used in any rehabilitation applications, like reducing the cat's body weight, should be run after consultation and supervision of a specialist
- the treadmill should be used only under the control of the owner and blocked during his absence (the treadmill is equipped with a mechanism that blocks the movement of the wheel)
- the size of the wheel should be matched to the size of the cat, small size - cats up to 3 kg, medium size- cats up to 6 kg, big size- cats up to 9 kg. the time of use should be selected according to the cat's abilities and needs, if you have any doubts about the size of the wheel, we suggest contacting a specialist.
Attention! apart from the unquestionably positive effects of playing, running in a circle or rehabilitation, the treadmill may also carry risks:
- too long and intensive daily running of the cat can lead to health problems, e.g. joint dysplasia
- too small size of the wheel in relation to the size of the cat, combined with intensive use can lead to health problems related to the musculoskeletal system and the spine
- too high speed of the spinning wheel may pose a threat to the cat, the treadmill has been equipped with a system that slows down the movement of the wheel and the owner should adjust the wheel properly
